"I began receiving phone calls at work. It was nerve wracking and my heart would beat fast every time the phone would ring because I was worried it was another creditor. Then I contacted the Consumer Justice Group and they immediately put my mind at ease and let me know that we could get the phone calls to stop. They emailed me some instructions on how to send a letter to the creditor that was calling to make them stop calling me at work. I followed the instructions and after a few copies and some certified letters, the calls stopped. Then about a month later, they started again, but with a different creditor. This time I wasn't as scared about it because I knew there was a great possibility that we could get these calls at work to stop as well. I followed the same instructions and have not had another phone call at work since. If in the future another creditor were to try to contact me at work, I would feel as though I had the ability to make them stop.
